The 'Run for the Wall' is an annual event that hundreds of men and women travel across the country from California to Washington D. C. on motorcycles in an effort to promote veterans' healing and accountability for those who honorably served in the United States Armed Service and lost their lives, are still Missing In Action (MIA), and all Prisoners Of War (POW).
Although there was a gap in this annual event due to the COVID pandemic, this is easily one of the worlds biggest and longest running motorcycle cross-country events that continues to this date. For more information on how to participate in next years Run for the Wall, visit https://rftw.us/.
On May 25th 2022, the City of Nitro, WV hosted an event giving all participants of this year's Run for the Wall a 'pit stop' before continuing on. This included the workhorse of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, the UH-1 Iroquois helicopter, most commonly known as "Huey".
As a veteran-owned small business, all of us here at UA-Visions are honored to have had the opportunity to film and complete this project.
